Hey, guys!
I’m Mir, a current student at the University of Minnesota and aspiring video producer and stop motion animator. I also enjoy soccer, video games and music production.
My Story
After being born at The Ohio State University, I spent my early childhood in Prague, Czech Republic. This is where my passion for soccer and video games started. At around 9 years old, my family moved to Worthington, Minnesota. I attended Worthington High School, as well as Minnesota West Community and Technical College as part of the PSEO program. I was accepted into the University of Minnesota’s computer science program in the fall of 2021, and started my first semester in the fall of 2022.
My Love for Video
Growing up, I was always fascinated by LEGO stop motion animations on YouTube. When I was 10 years old, I started making my own. This initial interest led me to experiment making different types of video content, such as live action skits and gaming videos/live streams. When I got to the U of M, I realized I had too much passion and talent for video production to let it be just a hobby.
